Sam is an immunologist by training, having completed her PhD at Edinburgh, then post-doc work with Prof. Stephen Miller at Northwestern and Prof. Jeff Bluestone in California. Sam then transitioned into industry, working as Associate Director at Pfizer, Senior Director of Research at the Parker Institute and SVP Head of Research at Akamis Bio.
